An innovative approach to leadership based on ancient wisdom and quantum physics

Introduction:

Ole Bloch, former Olympic rower and mental coach for top athletes in Denmark has spent the last 25 years transferring his coaching experience and leadership skills to the corporate arena. He comes from a real world of sports and business and has practiced everything what he preaches.
By integrating his business and sports background with concepts of Mental Training and Coaching, Total Balance Method, The Biology of Beliefs, Appreciative Inquiry, Quantum Science, and a variety of Life Philosophies such as Buddhism, Ole Bloch developed a unique approach to leadership called Leading.

Short presentation of the topic:

Ole´s idea of Leading InSync was inspired by a phenomena called Harmonic Resonance which shows how the combined power of the interacting waves is doubled when two pebbles of the same size are dropped from the same height and at the same time in the water. On the other hand if the dropping of the pebbles is not coordinated, these out of sync energy waves cancel each other in a so called destructive interference.

But in spite of Ole´s great interest in finding paralles of scientific and spiritual phenomena in the world of business, Ole is not a typical »lecturer« to pump you full of academic theories or formulas.  He has the ability to communicate and connect ancient wisdom and latest science with the fundamental leadership truths through simple stories, anecdotes and humor. He knows what works and what doesn´t work, he knows how to convert the complexity into simplicity and how to share his solid and practical knowledge in a positive and dynamic way. 

What made Ole Bloch look for more profound answers in the context of leadership was that throughout his business career as coach and consultant he has realized that there is too much focus on the outer manifestation of leadership; the educational title, the position in an organization, social reputation, outside power, executive offices, etc. But these external adornments have sometimes little to do with the actual ability of the leader to lead. There are many so called “leaders” with a great position, but with very few people who are willing to follow them.

Ole believes that greatness of true leaders lie in their inner power as individuals, in their proper self-control and their personal brilliance – qualities that are demonstrated through everyday actions and can dramatically influence the surrounding.  Leaders´ genuine interest in people and their constructive connections with people can result in significant and positive difference at every level of an organization surpassing the material and financial profits of an organization. Change of awareness in one single leader can help achieve a change in the destiny of the whole organization and when a leader recognizes the value of cultivating and enriching his inner humanity, he won´t have problems in having people follow him.
