Executive coaching - why coach management teams?Many of the managers in the companies I work for have the problem that they all are very busy and often don’t have time to meet. This lack of communication fosters a lack of coordination and subsequently arguments and in some cases lack of trust between managers. This is not only damaging the company, but has a stressful effect on the individual manager. Top management must work as a group - a group that should be functioning as one coherent team. In some of these cases, often when it has become very serious, I am called in and asked what to do. There is never one simple answer. In some cases where trust has been broken I suggest coaching of the entire top management group. |
